UI language, chat history, and local context may be stored in your browser’s localStorage so the service can work without an account.
Security / rate limiting
The server may temporarily remember an IP-derived key in memory for rate limiting. This is not a marketing cookie.
Analytics
When enabled, self-hosted Umami may load only after consent. Categories may include page path, locale, selected country/topic codes, feedback values, and source hostnames — not legal question or answer text. Retention remains under LegalPilot’s control on the configured analytics host.

You can clear site data in your browser settings or clear chat history in the product UI.
